Easy Pesto
My modified pesto recipe is really easy and delicious!
First, toast 1 3ounce bag of pine nuts. Toast them with a bit of cooking spray on medium heat for about 2 minutes:
Add 3/4 tube of Gourmet Garden Basil Herb Blend:
Add 1/2 bunch of fresh parsley. The parsely adds more dark green coloring to the pesto and enhances the flavor:
Add 2-3 Tablespoons of olive oil and blend until smooth:
Serve with crackers, over pasta, or with polenta:
Mangia!

I saw a tube of a product something like the basil that you have shown here just yesterday. That tube wasn't vegan and had maybe some cheese or other animal product. I do like to get a basil concentrate available in a toothpaste-like tube.
