Compassion Over Killing has a new section of its website devoted to living vegan on a budget. It's full of great tips for low-cost vegan living. The best part is that no where on the site does it mention dumpster diving, so you can totaly share this site with every curious omni you meet who says, "I could never afford to be Vegan." As if.

I like Sci-Fi, independent music, bike riding, old-school video games, and vegan treats. I love animals and have been vegan for over ten years. I have two dogs (omnivores) and a husband (herbivore). I love to cook and to eat out. I have a master's degree in administration and work in a public school.

"I could never afford to be Vegan" is by far the most laughable excuse I hear from non vegans who know they should be veggies and are looking for excuses: meat is one of the products steadily raising in price year after year and often does not enter in the protected market products (prices are kept low by law).
Come on people! At least be honest and say it. Repeat after me: "I am lazy and have no will power"!
