Amy's Organic Rice Crust Pizza
Don't let the "rice crust" scare you! I repeat, do not let it scare you!
This is (to my knowledge) Amy's only vegan-cheese pizza. It's delicious! The rice crust is soft with a crisp bottom and the pizza is topped with mounds of spinach, chunky tomato sauce, and 'CHEESE'!
Here's the secret:
Bake at 400 for 11 minutes, remove from oven, turn on broiler, once broiler is lit place pizza under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until 'cheese' is melted.
They had this in Portland about 6 months ago, but it just arrived on the East Coast (at least my section of the East Coast) last week. It's worth a try.

Wow, I didn't know those products exist at all. There is hope. We make our own pizza but it would also be great if one day one could go into a pizza place and just order some vegan pizza.

Hi! Thanks for your kind words on my blog. I appreciate you stopping by.
I didn't know Amy's made a vegan pizza, other than the cheeseless pizza. I've seen her pizzas in our local store but have overlooked them because I assumed none were vegan. I'll have to see if they carry this one.
I've never seen that Lifescapes mag either -- I'm going to see if our B&N has it. It looks interesting (but I'm a magazine junkie - lol).

Hi, this is my first time stumbling onto your blog! I didn't know that Amy's made a vegan soy-cheese pizza...will be on the lookout for it next time.

Glad to hear you liked the pizza -- I haven't tried that one yet. I've loved all of the Amy's pizzas that I've tried, but my favorite to date is the roasted veggie no-cheese pizza! (I was so skeptical at first . . . pizza without cheese? YES!)

i know their original rice crust pizza isn't vegan and now i'm drooling at the prospect of being able to snag one of these that is!

hi, I love your vegan site! I'm a long-time vegan and I just recently tried Amy's vegan rice-crust pizza (individual size only unfortunately) and it was SOOO great! I can't wait to try the large vegan spinach with rice crust. I'm in NYC and it's nowhere to be found yet. In regard to great vegan pizza - try TJ's Pizza in Boston (TJ's scallywaggles in Brighton section). All their food is vegan including vegan subs!
